I Loved You First

This book was my first read in a while… last time I read BY CHOICE was in middle school… I’m now 21.. it’s been long overdue. I never really enjoyed reading nor felt the desire… I was quite nervous to read it because I easily get bored and it’s hard for me to have an imagination since some books are hard to follow. I always had a hard time finding the plot or never being able to remember what happened previously to continue on my reading. However, the storyline definitely kept me engaged and I enjoyed every little bit of it. This book definitely gave me a connection which I’ve never thought I’d ever be able to feel; I laughed, I smiled, I had anger, I cried, I loved… I definitely felt so much emotions, which I’ve never thought a book would make me feel. The vivid details and descriptions in this book made it easy for me to have an imagination and I felt as if I was a person floating in a bubble witnessing Cam’s, Fi’s, and Brady’s life. I even thought at one point that a movie about this book would be the cutest ever, which I hope this book actually gets far and it actually happens WITHOUT the storyline being changed up. Moreover, I’m sure I have more to read… But this was by far the best starter book for someone that’s looking to dip their toes in to see what genre they’d be interested in. This romance book has definitely encouraged me to read more books! I’m glad this was my first starter book and I cannot wait to read more!

The story was very predictable and it felt like the same words and phrases copied and pasted throughout. It was unnecessarily long for such a short story.

Nice story with perfect feel good characters though very predictable. Could have done without the excessive daily character fashion reports (save them for special situations please) and predictable lengthy sex reports. Wondering if authors pick these sex scenes descriptions from scripted stock collections as they all seem the same. Nice happy ending.

This book is everything I have imagined. The heart break and the reunion and falling apart again to getting married and bring their mini version to the world. It’s surely a work of art.

It was a very predictable story. I liked the fact that it was long but I also expected there to be more to the story since it was a longer book. There was not. I still enjoyed the read because I like lovey, feel good books but would not recommend.

I enjoyed the storyline and it kept me intrigued. I gave 4 stars only because there was very little variation in vocabulary. You’ll see the same exact descriptions several times throughout the book and it’s started to just feel like fluff.

I kept thinking something I wasn’t expecting was going to happen but I was wrong. The graphic sex scenes were weird in this story! Just felt immature and unnecessary.

Absolutely loved this book! Such a breath of fresh air and a great story! Hard to put down.
