This book was really so amazing. It was heartfelt, and gave the true emotions of trying to fit in with everyone around you. I personally was not alive through the time of proposition 187, but Kelly Yang made me feel everything about it. This book was truly amazing.

It sends a good message i guess, but the book is terribly written and the main character (Mia) acts really annoying and self centered.
