Brainy vs. Bossy Jessica is the brains. Hayes is the boss (she was his intern). A quick read with a bit of heat. Recommend.

I really enjoyed Jessica and Hayes story. I thought it was well written and the story was a cute one. I loved the instant attraction they had and the will power hayes had to fight it off as long as he did. I loved how they ended up together. This was definitely a good book i would recommend.

Jessica has a cat named Winston and she talks to him. Jessica is on a date with Chad, they met on a dating app. Chad took Jessica to a soccer game where he then proceeds to try to get Jessica to barge into the private suite. Her friend is married to a player. Chad somehow found out about the connection and wants Jessica to introduce him so he can get an in with the marketing team. Jessica tells him no and starts to leave she hears a deep voice that she knows and it’s not Chad. Jessica turns around to see Hayes Maddox the man she had a crush on a few years ago when she was an intern for his company. Hayes offers Jessica a ride home. Hayes has a cat that he got when his grandmother died and the cat is named Winston and Hayes talks to him. Hayes is a tech wizard who has his fingers in lots of pies. When he finds out that Jessica met Chad on Metro Love, an app he invested in he wants to block Chad. Hayes watched Jessica as she worked for him. He wanted her but HR rules prohibited that. Now that it has been a few years since Jessica had worked for Hayes he felt like he could pursue her. Jessica has started her own gaming company and she is doing fantastic. One kiss is all it takes to start a relationship with Jessica and Hayes. Jessica is leery about going public with the relationship because of how people spread falsehoods. Will Hayes and Jessica find that they are a great fit? Will Winston and Winston be a good fit? Will Hayes and Jessica collaborate on games?
