    A refreshing spin that brings old world to new of the vampire lifestyle. Hope to make a movie of it lol the storyline came and went with its explanations, and I loved it

    First time reading this author. A well imagined story with interesting characters. Not the type of book I would normally read. It is dark and twisted with descriptive sex and portrays the Amish in a way they wouldn’t appreciate even in a fictional sect.

    He said she would save him, that she was his salvation. But she knew it had been him who saved her. This line is the sum of the story! Deep, rich BUT oh so dark read. Adam, Cain and Annalise are fabulous characters that drag you deep into the story.

    I received this book for my honest review. I've read many of Lydia Michaels books, and I would say to date this series is one of my top favorites. This paranormal book will get you hooked early on, and keeps you wanting more. I couldn't out this book down until I completed it. Definitely worth the read.

    Amish vampires?! Lydia Michaels?! Say no more. What an incredible book this was, such a wild ride. I am. Not normally a fan of vampire tales, but this one was fantastic. I listened in audio and the narrators were perfection. Pick this one up!

    This is an unconventional story of the the immortal life of Adam Hartzler and his need to find his true soul mate. Adam’s family live amongst the Amish community and they are devout in their faith. Annalise Snow is not immortal, and she is used to the conveniences of modern society. Adam must convince her that are meant to be bonded together and that his life depends on it. The attraction is undeniable and the love is felt throughout the book. It is understandable that she is hesitant to completely give up the life she knew. The plot twists completely shocked me and kept me hooked. I loved this book and can’t wait to read more from this family. The audiobook is fantastic and Lucinda Gainey did an amazing job!
