Description

"'There will be three tasks, spaced throughout the school year, and they will test the champions in many different ways ... their magical prowess - their daring - their powers of deduction - and, of course, their ability to cope with danger.'"

The Triwizard Tournament is to be held at Hogwarts. Only wizards who are over seventeen are allowed to enter - but that doesn't stop Harry dreaming that he will win the competition. Then at Hallowe'en, when the Goblet of Fire makes its selection, Harry is amazed to find his name is one of those that the magical cup picks out. He will face death-defying tasks, dragons and Dark wizards, but with the help of his best friends, Ron and Hermione, he might just make it through - alive!

Having become classics of our time, the Harry Potter eBooks never fail to bring comfort and escapism. With their message of hope, belonging and the enduring power of truth and love, the story of the Boy Who Lived continues to delight generations of new readers.

  • The font changed mid-book ☹️

When I opened the book tonight, the font was suddenly changed to a sans serif and there is no way to change it back. For what I paid for this book, you would think it would be higher quality. Disappointed.

they updated and locked the font, so now it looks like you’re reading a high school students Word document 🤢

Yes, J. K. Rowling persists on being problematic. I wouldn’t blame anyone for no longer engaging in any of her works. For me, Harry Potter is art greater than the artist. I literally grew up with HP, the first book releasing when I was 11, the last when I was 17. And this is a wonderful continuation of the series! From here on out, the story becomes much less “let’s have fun with magic” and so much more about real situations.

Only in his fourth year and competing against seventh years! Harry Potter is very skilled wizard. Will he win the competition, or will he lose?

There was never a dull moment, so much was happening and the plot is so multilayered describing what happened in this book no a nonreader in and of itself is a challenging task. This read was well worth it. I like the pieces of art sprinkled throughout. A lot more characters are introduced. In my opinion the movies only cover a fraction of what is in the books so reading vs watching is a treat in its own right.
